By the time I was also packed up and ready to sleep it was already 2:30 am. I had to be up by 4:30 am to catch the airport shuttle for my flight back. Unfortunately I slept through my alarm, and woke up at 4:45, so I had to rush downstairs. Thankfully another shuttle came and we drove through the storm to the airport.
It was cold on the plane to Winnipeg, but I slept through most of it. I was happy that another Saskatchewan girl is on the same flight, otherwise I’d be completely lost in the airports. I slept for both the plane rides, and now I am safely home. I was very excited and emotional to see my family. I didn’t know how much I would the fields, the nature, and the living sky. First I plan on catching up on sleep, then it’ll be back to work.
